Nickel Sulfate

Nickel Sulfate is a dry nickel source, the hexahydrate crystal form at 22% nickel. Nickel is the most recently recognized essential plant micronutrient, required for the urease enzyme that lets plants process nitrogen and urea, and it supports seed viability and disease resistance. Deficiency is uncommon but real, and it tends to show up where nitrogen metabolism is stressed. As a trace nutrient, it is needed in minute amounts, hence the 1 oz per acre rate.
