Calcium Nitrate

Calcium Nitrate is a greenhouse-grade, fully water soluble fertilizer supplying 15.5% nitrogen in the readily available nitrate form and 19% calcium. It is a favorite for fertigation because it dissolves cleanly and delivers two nutrients that work together: nitrate nitrogen for immediate uptake and growth, and calcium for cell wall strength, fruit quality, and the prevention of calcium-related disorders like blossom end rot and tip burn. Because calcium moves with water in the plant, a steady soluble supply through the irrigation line is one of the most effective ways to deliver it. Applied at 48 oz per acre, it fits vegetable, fruit, and high-value crop programs.
